Surface Go presented: Inexpensive work device for everyone

Rumors have been going around for a long time that Microsoft will come around the corner with a cheap Surface at some point. And now the Surface Go was presented this morning. All information.
Design
The Surface Go looks very similar to the other devices in the range. The display is ten inches and is located between the speakers on the front. The ports are on the right side of the device, on the back there is still the kickstand behind which the slot for a microSD card is. The power button and the volume controls are on the top. The connectors for the keyboard were hidden on the bottom.
Display
The display is ten inches and was installed in 3: 2 format. The resolution is therefore 1800 × 1200 pixels at 216ppi. According to the first testers, the display is sufficiently sharp.
Accessories
Surface - typically there are also quite a few accessories for the Go. There is of course the keyboard, called the Surface Go Type Cover, of which there are two versions this year. The normal version is only available in black. The signature version is available in red, blue and silver as well as with a cover made of Alcantara.
In addition to the keyboard, there is also the Surface Mobile Mouse and the Surface Pen with 4096 different pressure levels.
Software and specifications
The Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y does its job in the Surface Go. This doesn't even need a fan. The graphics unit is the Intel HD 615. There is either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 64GB or 256GB of memory.
Microsoft says the battery life is 9 hours. The software is Windows 10 S. However, it can be upgraded to Windows 10 Home without any problems and free of charge.
Prices and availability
You will be able to buy the Surface Go from us from August. The version with 4GB RAM costs 399 US dollars (for us probably 499 €), the version with 8GB costs 549 US dollars. The Surface Go Type Cover starts at $ 99, the Surface Mobile Mouse costs $ 35, and the Surface Pen costs $ 99.
