Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2: Hardware information leaked

It has been known for some time that Microsoft is on a Event on October 2nd will introduce the Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2. WinFuture has now been able to obtain the data on the hardware of both devices - the previously expected refresh of the computers is probably less than expected.
Design will probably stay the same
The Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2 are said to look very similar to their predecessors. This is confirmed by a photo of the Surface Pro 6 that recently appeared. There is only supposed to be a new black color variant for the Type Cover of the Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2. It is also interesting that both devices do not have a USB-C port. And this despite the fact that the Surface GB, which appeared four months ago, has one. Accordingly, one looks in vain for Thunderbolt.

Also no changes in the memory variants
The entry-level version of the Surface Pro 6 is said to have 4 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of SSD storage. The top configuration is likely to have 16 gigabytes of RAM and a one terabyte SSD. The basic version will most likely have an Intel Core m3, while the top model will likely have a Core i7 from the same company. The Surface Laptop 2's basic configuration is said to have an Intel Core i5 with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of SSD storage.
It is also suspected that Microsoft will pre-install Windows 10 S on both devices. A free update to Windows 10 Home should be possible via the Windows Store. Installing Windows 10 Professional is apparently not allowed. The Surface Pro 6 is likely to start at 899 euros, while a possible starting price for the Surface Laptop 2 is not yet known.
