Twitter down: Thousands of users are reporting disruptions to the service

The social media portal Twitter has been down for several minutes. Thousands of users report on portals such as "Downdetector" and various other sites Protrouble with the service.
Twitter down: What to do?
The outages currently appear to be affecting parts of the US and Europe. It also appears in Sweden, France, Greece and small parts of Finland and Spain Proto give problems. Hence that seems Proproblem to be widespread.
There is currently no option but to wait. On other services like Facebook there is no statement about the serverProproblem However, websites such as All Disturbances show reports from thousands of users in Germany and Austria. Some users have already tried to reinstall the app or log in again without success. These measures did not help either.
