UE Wonderboom 2 presented: The second generation of the small speaker

The Wonderboom has been available from UE for some time. That was apparently successful, because now there is a successor to the EU Wonderboom 2.
For the most part, the Wonderboom 2 does not differ from the original Wonderboom. It is still available in the same bright colors, it is still the same compact and the water resistance has been retained - it is protected according to IP67. The two large volume buttons are also located on the front. The introductory price of around 100 euros has not changed either.

But what's new then? The answer: One crucial thing, namely the size. This results in two very practical things. Firstly, the Wonderboom 2 now has a battery life that is up to 30 percent longer. This results in a running time of around 13 hours. Secondly, the sound quality has improved a little, as CNET reports. From June 5th, i.e. tomorrow, the UE Wonderboom 2 will be available for the aforementioned 100 euros. The original Wonderboom now costs just 50 euros.
