Apple's video streaming service is expected to be presented in March
Just the day before yesterday I reported that Apple will not present the suspected video streaming service at the March event. That will be the case after all.
A spring event is scheduled to take place on March 25th at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Campus in Cupertino. An official announcement is still pending. It is believed that Apple will introduce a news service there. There were also rumors about a Netflix competitor that was to be presented towards the end of the year. This will obviously be revealed at next month's keynote, according to Bloomberg.
Apple invited various movie stars
Bloomberg claims to have learned from sources that the California manufacturer invited several movie stars for March 25th. Including Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Reese Witherspoon. This led to the assumption that the platform for films and series could also be used to talk about at the event. It is now also known that such an offer will be launched next summer. It should then work like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Means that you get access to the content for a monthly fee. From Bloomberg's report it can also be seen that Apple's news offering will be integrated into Apple News. And here, too, they want to rely on a subscription model. It is unclear how high the prices for one will be.
