In addition, watchOS 8 measures breaths pro Minute. If this value changes over several months, this can indicate that you are more stressed. The workout app got two new sports: Tai Chi and Pilates.

Finally, there are a lot of changes to the clock faces and the Photos app. The latter was equipped with a whole range of features that are familiar from the version on the iPhone. These include the memory highlights.

The interaction with portraits has been refined for watchOS 8. Turning the crown in the Photos app increases or decreases the bokeh and these photos can now also be set as a clock face. The individual levels of a picture are even recognized, which means that the time is displayed behind the model.
