WhatsApp down: Sending and receiving messages does not work

WhatsApp is currently down - at least for numerous users from Germany, Austria and other European countries. So you can currently not read messages or send them via the messenger.
Post at 22:28 p.m .: There are always small ones Probleme on WhatsApp - again this evening. What it is is still not known. Also, WhatsApp has not yet commented on this Proproblem Users on Twitter, as well as via allertoerungen.de report Protrouble. So it's not up to you. Restarting the phone doesn't help in this case either.

Update at 22:34 pm: Some messages are currently going through again.
Update at 22:51 pm: WhatsApp seems to have been working properly again for a few minutes.
