Xiaomi Mi 9: These are the official prices for Germany and Austria
Xiaomi is currently presenting its innovations from China at MWC 2019. Now the prices of the Xiaomi Mi 9 have been shown. Very surprising there the flagship now a lot cheaper than expected.
Xiaomi has been on the big stage of the MWC 10 in Barcelona since 30:2019 a.m. In addition to two smart lamps and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 (test to follow) 5G, the prices of the Xiaomi Mi 9 have also been officially announced. Already yesterday we speculated about the likely prices. Now the prices are a lot cheaper than expected.
Xiaomi Mi 9: Start at 449 euros
The cheapest model with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage starts at 449 euros. The slightly more expensive version costs 499 euros and has 128 GB of internal storage. A real price announcement to the competition. After all, in the DxOmark (award for cameras) you take second place, right behind Mate 20 Pro. But this costs a lot more. In addition, the current Snapdragon 855 has been installed and otherwise - on the data sheet at least - strong hardware is used.
The performance starts immediately. The flagship will be delivered from February 28, 2019. We look forward to a test.
What does a Global MIUI mean for the Mi9 SE? Is there also a global version coming out of this?

Hallo,
As far as I know, there is generally no difference between global and "normal". The global MIUI versions come with support in several languages (including German). The "Standard" MIUI is intended for the Chinese market and therefore only offers Chinese and English as language options.
In addition, the global version doesn't have that many Chinese apps preinstalled that you can't do anything with in this country.
Mostly global versions are available for almost every Xiaomi model, otherwise there are always developers who provide such a version.
Greetings,
