The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is currently the best-selling fitness tracker in the world - sometimes also one of the cheapest. So far, there has been one legitimate point of criticism: the language. With the latest software update, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 can now also be set in German.

Until now, it was only possible to select the languages Chinese or English on the affordable fitness tracker. The latest software update in version 1.0.5.48 now includes support for the German language. Generally nothing else has changed, only the words are now translated. The language setting is also automatically adjusted - if you have your smartphone in German, it should be the same on the Mi Band.

Update for Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is rolling out

As always, this update will be rolled out in waves. But it should already have arrived, especially for users from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you have not yet received the update, you can manually search for updates in the Mi App. At this point at the latest, the update should appear and you can install it. The update has already arrived on our device.

The Chinese version of the fitness tracker also gets the update. So there is no longer any difference between the European and the Chinese version.

The Mi Band 4 is currently available for around 35 euros on Amazon. Also the shop TradingShenzhen sells it for around 29 euros. It is since the beginning of June on the market. Our test report on the affordable fitness tracker will follow shortly.
