Xiaomi not only has the new one today Redmi Note 9T, but also the slightly cheaper Xiaomi Redmi 9T officially presented. It only costs 170 euros and has a lot to offer, at least on paper.

How it is equipped, when the official sales start takes place and to what extent it does Little M3 is extremely similar, you will find out in the following lines.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T Specs

The Redmi 9T is a very large smartphone, which the dimensions of 162,3 x 77,3 x 9,6 mm make quite clear. The weight of 198 grams is still completely okay with this size. According to the manufacturer, the back should be made of plastic, which has a non-slip structure, which means that the device should be even better in the hand. In addition, it will almost certainly be quite immune to fingerprints.

One reason for the enormous dimensions is certainly the display, which is interrupted by a teardrop-shaped notch. It is a 6,53-inch IPS panel with a pleasantly sharp resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels. The in-house user interface MIUI 12, based on Android 10, is used as software. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, which we already know from the Poco M3. There is also 4 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB flash memory, which can be expanded with a micro SD card. The absolute highlight of the smartphone is definitely the huge 6.000 mAh battery, which is sure to ensure really good battery life. With the included 22,5 watt power supply, the 9T is only charged with up to 18 watts, which is still perfectly fine for around 170 euros. There are also stereo speakers, an infrared port and even a 3,5 mm jack connection is on board.

Finally, let's take a look at the cameras, which hardly differ from the Redmi Note 9T: here, too, the main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels and there are two sensors with 2 megapixels each, which are responsible for macro shots and depth effects. In addition, the Redmi 9T also has an ultra-wide-angle camera, which the Note 9T unfortunately lacks. This has a resolution of 8 megapixels. The front camera also has a resolution of 8 megapixels and sits in a small notch on the front.

The equipment is very reminiscent of that of the Poco M3. Only the design of the back and the number of cameras differ, because the M3 unfortunately lacks an ultra-wide-angle camera.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T: price, colors & availability

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T costs € 64 with 169,90 GB of flash memory and the buyer has to pay € 30 more for double the memory. The smartphone will appear on March 15 in the colors Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange and Ocean Green.
