Nomad is known for their wireless chargers. The Nomad Base Station Stand is their newest charger, offering a wide range of Proproducts can charge wirelessly.

What's in the box
A lot is included in the scope of delivery. In addition to the stand itself, there is also a very well-made USB-C cable, the charger and two adapters, with which you can charge either in Europe or in the USA. This is good for travelers.
application
The Nomad Base Station Stand is the best built wireless charger I've ever seen. The housing is made of aluminum and the charging pad is made of synthetic leather. Both feel much higher quality compared to other wireless chargers like the Samsung booth.

There are two Qi chargers with 10W each in the stand. One ensures that devices can be charged horizontally, the other for charging devices placed vertically. In my test phase of 10 weeks, every smartphone with wireless charging had no Problem loaded. TWS headphones can also be recharged with the charger, but the Galaxy Buds have to be charged just like the AirPods Pro be placed. There is a small LED at the bottom of the charger, which lights up as soon as a device is charged. A light sensor on the back monitors the ambient light and automatically adjusts the brightness of the status LED. A very nice, intuitive feature.

The Base Station Stand with its 10W is not the fastest wireless charger. But many devices such as the iPhone 11 Pro or Galaxy S10 only support a maximum of 10W to 12W anyway, so this should not be so noticeable in everyday life. Other manufacturers such as Oppo or Xiaomi do a lot more, the Base Station Stand is not suitable for such devices.
Other wireless chargers are quite noisy because the coils need to be ventilated. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Base Station Stand. That's why I was able to use the wireless charger without Probleme on my bedside table or desk without the charging being acoustically annoying. The included power supply supports 18W. So if you need to be quick, you can use it to charge your smartphone.
Conclusion
The Nomad Base Station Stand is a premium wireless charger with a premium price. For an RRP of €99, the device is not cheap and if you just want a cheap wireless charger, the Nomad Stand is definitely the wrong choice. But if you want a nice, inconspicuous wireless charging stand, you get a premium with the Nomad Base Station Stand Product.
