Sanodesk EF1 review: What is the use of height-adjustable?

Tested today: The Sanodesk EF1. This table is a height-adjustable desk for a low price. But where are the tradeoffs? And who should buy a height-adjustable desk at all, now in times of home office? You will find out in the following lines.

The Sanodesk EF1 is made almost entirely of metal and is therefore quite stable. It is completely set up within two hours. A complete operating manual is also included in the scope of delivery, which makes assembly child's play. The plate supplied is of extremely good quality, but also very heavy. In this case it is 120 × 60 centimeters, which was too small for me. But since you can screw all kinds of desk tops onto the frame, I just picked up my old desk and mounted it instead. That works well and does not affect the function.

Workmanship and quality

Admittedly, I was somewhat critical of the quality of the Sanodesk EF1, as it is very inexpensive at 254 euros just for the frame. And from a height of 100 centimeters, if you aim at it, you can also elicit a few wobbles from the table. But it even reaches the maximum 123 centimeters without becoming unstable. So you don't have to cut corners here. There is only one motor installed, which brings the table to the desired height quite quickly. It can be used between a height of 73,5 centimeters and 123 centimeters.

Service

It is operated via a control panel, which is available in three versions, which you can find on the FlexiSpot website. The middle option called the EF1 has the best value for money in my opinion as the premium model EZ1 can't really do more. The control panel is quite well made, and with the help of four memory buttons you can easily save the desired height settings. You can also manually change the height, which is then shown on a display.

Who needs a height-adjustable desk?

I would recommend a height-adjustable desk to anyone who, like me, sits long hours and a lot. It encourages Proproductivity of being able to stand up easily while working, and I was actually able to concentrate better. However, it is also a fair bit more expensive than a simple desk, so people who only sit at a desk occasionally can save the money. Of course, there are also better-equipped, height-adjustable desks, but they usually cost around 500 euros. Some people just don't want to pay that money for a table. If you are now interested, you can cross the desk this link to buy. There is the more expensive EZ1 here.
