That was the year 2018 on TechnikNews
Today is the last day of 2018. A pretty exciting year for this blog, at least I think. That is why I would like to take this day as an occasion and on the past TechnikNews-Year looking back.
2018 appear on TechnikNews a total of 387 new articles. 44 contributions are editions of the TechnikNews Weekly, which we introduced for the first time this year and published every Sunday at 18 p.m. We were most active in August, when 81 articles appeared, and in September, when 54 articles appeared. The posts that got the most hits were the Review of the Huawei P20 Pro, Info article about a Snapchat crash, Review of the Matebook X Pro and the Review of the Fossil Q Explorist HR. The fourth Advent competition received the most comments, followed by the other three.
But also within the team TechnikNews done quite a bit. Moritz unfortunately left us in the fourth quarter, for that are now Alina and Kevin with us. They don't write new posts that often because Alina is in training and Kevin has a permanent job, but when they're active, they deliver useful material. At the end of August the time had come that TechnikNews for the first time on the IFA in Berlin was represented. And in the coming year we are planning to travel to Berlin again for the fair.
Perhaps one or the other noticed that, especially in the third and fourth quarters, there were many test reports for which the devices were made available to us. Special thanks go to the press departments of Fitbit, Huawei, Libratone, Samsung, Microsoft and many others, as multiple collaborations have already been possible here. And we also owe the success of our Advent competitions to the press departments of the individual manufacturers.
Now you are asked
But without you readers, the whole thing would not be possible. 2018 would be only half as great for TechnikNews if you weren't here. And we don't plan to stop what we're doing here yet - on the contrary. We'd rather go a step further in the coming year. That’s what you’re asked for! Tell us in the comments what you liked this year, what you didn't like so much, what we can improve, which formats we should bring to life or just things that you spontaneously like TechnikNews come to mind. Thank you in advance and we will proTry to respond to the feedback as well as possible and also to implement as much of it as possible. Here's to an even better 2019!
The entire TechnikNews-Team wishes all readers a happy new year.
I would like to see a larger subject area. But that's where the name is TechnikNews somehow in the way ...
Otherwise good job! 😉
Hello Hellor,
can you perhaps tell us more precisely what you have in mind under this new "subject area"?
Regarding our name: This does not prevent us from also publishing test reports, advice, etc.?

Yes, more gaming news or something else ...
Thanks for the answer! We'll see what can be done. Maybe you have already seen our entertainment category, there is definitely room for gaming news?

And lifestyle news?
Hi,
First of all, thank you for your constructive ideas, they help us a lot. Can you describe in more detail what kind of news you want to see in this category? (maybe with examples from other websites)

If the old year was successful, look forward to the new one. And if it was bad, then even more so.
