Do you want to convert VOB files (DVD Video Object File) to another format such as MP4, AVI or FLV? The one below Programme will help you to convert the files.

If the VOB file cannot be played on the device, you can load suitable software for one - a well-known example: CyberLink PowerDVD or the BS.Player. On the other hand, you can easily convert the file and play, edit or burn the file.

Advantages of converting VOB

The conversion makes sense if you already have the necessary tools already installed or another Program on the disk that offers the better functions. In addition, VOB files are usually quite large and eat up disk space accordingly. In the following I would like to explain in detail how you can convert a single VOB file or several into another format on your Windows or Mac computer without any loss of quality.

What software do you need?

Of course, software that converts the file quickly and without loss of quality is recommended. At the same time, it is an advantage if Program already allows initial adjustments in terms of audio, editing or resolution. In this regard, the free Any video converter recommended. With this Program it is possible to convert VOB to MP4 or to other formats like AVI, MP4, MKV or AVI. In addition, it can be converted from other formats - for example MP4 to MP3. Also supported Profile for Android smartphones, Apple devices and more.

Convert quickly and without quality loss

First, of course, the respective software must be installed on the computer, then the following points must be dealt with:

  • Step 1: import the VOB file

The file can be imported using the "Add"> "Add videos" button.

  • Step 2: Define the output format

First mark all files, then click on "all" in the upper right corner and select an output format.

  • Step 3: start the conversion

The conversion can be started by clicking on the arrow. The conversion usually doesn't take long. It depends on the following factors: Is an SSD hard drive installed? How many files and how big are the files?

After the conversion is finished, right click on the respective file and select "Open target file folder". The converted file can now be found there.

Are there any differences between the individual formats?

VOB is a file extension for Video object file format, which is used today for encrypted DVD audio and video files. VOB files can contain audio, video, subtitles, DVD menus and navigation content. These files can be found in the DVD's VIDEO_TS folder. VOB is based on the well-known MPEGProgram stream format.

Formats like MP4 are mostly media container formats that can store anything: images, text, subtitles, video or just audio. It is the most well-known and widely used format and can be used by all devices and Proprograms are played.

Unfortunately nothing is 100% free here. At least if you don't want an ugly watermark over the video ...

100% free is more of a lie, isn't it? Here one should only once again Program that you have to pay for in the end. Or just get a watermark. For me, your contribution is one that falls under the category of snobs, smugglers, snitches.
