OnePlus announced yesterday that it is starting the update to Android 9.0 Pie for the OnePlus 6. In addition to the new Android version, this update also brings some improvements.

Android 3 has been available as a beta for all OnePlus users since September 9. However, this had to be installed a little more laboriously and was not intended for everyday use. Now the update is rolled out for all users via OTA update. The update brings the Android P gesture navigation and the new interface.

  • New "Do Not Disturb" mode with customizable settings

New gaming mode 3.0

  • Additional text notification mode
  • Additional notifications for calls

Accent color

  • Supports customization of the accent color

It will take a while before the update reaches all users. Until then, you can exchange ideas with other users in the OnePlus forum. Incidentally, the update is distributed under the name "Oxygen OS 9.0".
