Apple Fitness +: Now available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Apple Fitness + was already presented a while ago. Now the service came to us, too, but only with German subtitles.
Apple Fitness + a fitness service from Apple that revolves around workouts with the Apple Watch. New training videos for HIIT, Pilates, Yoga, Core and other sports with different levels of difficulty are added weekly. This can be followed on an iPhone, an iPad or an Apple TV. You also need an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer, as the smartwatch records all vital signs during a training session.
Now the service is finally available in German-speaking countries. There is one tiny catch, however, as the content is only available with German subtitles. Let's take a closer look at the whole thing.
What does Apple Fitness + offer?
As already mentioned at the beginning, Apple Fitness + primarily offers workout videos that you can follow yourself anytime, anywhere. There are several sports and levels of difficulty, so that there should be the right training for everyone. The videos are between five and 45 minutes long and are accompanied by songs from Apple Music.
The range is even a little bigger. In addition to the videos, you get podcasts that are supposed to accompany you on a walk and revolve around famous people such as Shawn Mendes. Apple calls this "time to go". You also get a whole library of meditation exercises.
It has recently become possible to compete with friends who are also using Fitness +. This happens via FaceTime and SharePlay, which have been available since iOS and iPadOS 15.1.
