It was quiet around the HomePod for a long time, but today we saw the Apple HomePod mini. All information.
The new Apple HomePod mini looks similar to its big brother. There are the same colors again - black and white. In return, the case has become smaller (as the name suggests) and rounder.
The mini can be placed anywhere as the driver can emit 360-degree sound. The S5 chip, which we know from the Apple Watch, is responsible, among other things, for improving the sound. It also ensures that several HomePods can play the sound synchronously. And the U1 chip will make for an easy handoff experience. Simply bring the iPhone close by and the playback changes to the loudspeaker.

Of course, Apple Music, AirPlay 2 and Siri are supported. The latter can mainly be used to control the music. Several voices are also recognized, which means that the Apple HomePod mini recognizes, for example, which user wants to send the requested iMessage. And when you are out and about, it is possible to play a message on the small smart speaker.
