Apple updated in dieser Woche also the Apple MacBook Pro. We'll explain what this year's model has to offer here.

The new MacBook Pro also comes with a chip from the M4 family, more specifically the M4, the M4 Pro or the M4 Max. In addition to performance improvements, these support the "Apple Intelligence" features that Apple presented at the last WWDC and are available from macOS Sequoia 15.1. In addition, all configurations of the MacBook now have at least 16 gigabytes of RAM, thanks to the introduction of Apple Intelligence.

There are also changes to the casing, starting with the USB-C ports. These support Thunderbolt 4 in the M4 variant, while the M4 Pro and M4 Max variants even support Thunderbolt 5. Next comes the display, which is now available with a nano-texture coating on request. And above the screen there is now a revised center stage camera with twelve megapixels.

Last but not least, there was a change in the color options. The space black that Apple introduced last year is now also available with the M4 model. The other option is again silver.

Apple MacBook Pro (2024): Prices and availability

Pre-orders for the new MacBook Pro are currently underway. It will be available from November 8th at a starting price of 1.899 euros.
