Apple iPad Pro (2021) with M1 processor officially unveiled

In addition to the new iMac, we also saw a new Apple iPad Pro today. This one comes with the M1 chip. All information.
Until now, the iPad always used a slightly more powerful version of the iPhone's processor. This year, that's changing, the new Apple iPad Pro now comes with an M1 processor. This step means performance increases of up to 75 percent can be expected. The Pro tablet has always been fast. Now the gap to the competition is even greater. In keeping with this, the best storage configuration has a capacity of two terabytes. In addition, Thunderbolt with USB 4 is included in the iPad. This results in a higher data transfer rate. And while we're on the subject: 5G is also on board.
Even if this is not so important in a tablet, the new generation of the Pro model has a better camera. Depth information and the surroundings in particular are now captured better. This means that AR applications, for example, work even more accurately. The front camera has also been further developed. This is now an ultrawide sensor, which means that the subject can always be placed in focus during video calls.
The 12,9-inch version now houses a Liquid Retina XDR display. This ensures a better and richer color rendering. The panel itself is the expected mini-LED display, which primarily supports a higher contrast ratio.
A little happened with the first-party accessories. As of today, the Magic Keyboard is also available in a white color.
