The CES 2023 in Las Vegas is slowly coming to an end and also brought some news for the automotive industry. We have summarized the most exciting presentations here.

After CES has been limited since the outbreak of the corona virus, everything returns to normal this year with CES 2023. More than 3200 manufacturers presented their new Proproducts at the fair. There were also some announcements from car manufacturers. And because yourself TechnikNews last year yes turned more to this topic, let's also take a look at what's happening in this area this year.

CES 2023: The most important car news at a glance

On the one hand cared VW with the ID.7 for a lot of attention. The first all-electric sedan from VW is again based on the MEB platform and is scheduled to celebrate its world premiere in the second quarter of 2023. One of the most interesting features here is the range, which is specified as 700 kilometers (WLTP). This means that the ID.7 can go a lot further than other ID models. The car also comes with a new display concept, an AR head-up display, a large touchscreen and improved air conditioning control. The painting of the vehicle is also exciting, because you can make it shine individually.

Also very interesting is the concept car presented by BMW, the BMW i Vision Dee. The special features here are the AR windscreen and an integrated voice assistant. For the AR windscreen, the driver can set how much information about the vehicle and road traffic they want to see on the windscreen. Otherwise, BMW completely dispensed with screens.

In addition, Sony teamed up with Honda to develop the brand afeela to create. Among them, they want to bring a first vehicle onto the market by 2026, which will be presented at the CES as a Prototype was issued. Close cooperation with Qualcomm was also announced, since the realization of intelligent mobility requires continuous software updates and high-performance computing, according to the head of Sony Honda Mobility.
