Facebook Pay: Launch in the USA
Mobile payment services are gradually coming onto the market, now Facebook has also appeared with Facebook Pay - initially only in the USA.
Different to Fitbit Pay, Apple Pay, Garmin Pay and Google Pay, Facebook Pay is not intended for external use, but can only be used within the company's own services. Means that in the future you will be able to send money via Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp. However, there is a catch: For now, the service is only available in the USA. Not a word about the release in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
Like it in a post from Facebook, you can save a preferred payment method in the Facebook app. These include Visa, Maestro and PayPal. Authentication with face or fingerprint should ensure sufficient security. By the way: Facebook Pay has nothing to do with it Pound to do what I report on a few months ago. The only thing we have in common is our availability, which will not be available for the time being and will probably not be there for a long time to come. On the website you can find more details in the meantime.
