Just in time for IFA 2019, the new Fitbit Versa 2 is on its way. Firstly, there are already official press photos, and you also passed the Bluetooth SIG yesterday. So the upcoming smartwatch is as good as official.
We actually have a few more new details about the upcoming Fitbit device. First, there should be an Amazon Alexa integration, a picture of the packaging has already leaked. So there could also be a loudspeaker and a microphone on the smartwatch - or a fitness tracker. As one would like to say about it. In general, the rest remains identical to the current Fitbit Versa, which we already have here on the blog have tested. A second Fitbit Versa Lite (here is our test report) will probably not exist - it did not sell as well as desired.

Fitbit Versa 2: The first pictures
In addition to passing the Bluetooth SIG, which now confirms that we will find Bluetooth 5.0 in the smartwatch, there are more pictures of the Fitbit Versa 2. These are official press photos - but they look like the Fitbit Versa. This is due to the fact that almost nothing has changed in terms of appearance. The release date is set for the beginning of September - we will probably see them at IFA 2019 in Berlin. If so, then we will take a closer look at the smartwatch for you on site.
