Not until February Samsung showed the first generation Galaxy Watch Active. And yet leaks about the Galaxy Watch Active 2 are already circulating on the Internet.
While there is only one version of the first Watch Active with a 40-millimeter case, Samsung could again offer the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in two sizes, writes SamMobile. We are talking about a 40-millimeter and a 44-millimeter housing. This would mean that the two versions would be the same size as both versions of the one presented in September Apple Watch Series 4. And no, the rotating bezel, as we know it from the Galaxy Watch, should not come back.
Otherwise similar to its predecessor
Otherwise not much has changed compared to the predecessor. This means that the design of the Watch Active 2 looks the same as that of the first generation and that the layout of the buttons has not changed either. There should also be an option with LTE for a WLAN version. According to the source, this will also have a slightly larger battery - we're talking about 340 mAh for the model with LTE instead of just 237 mAh. On the software side, things seem to have changed a bit, the Watch Active 2 comes with One UI 1.5 instead of One UI 1.0.
