Huawei Mate 20 Pro coming October 16th with Kirin 980
Often we have with TechnikNews speculated about whether we will see a new smartphone from Huawei at IFA. This speculation is now history and is sober: The Huawei Mate 20 Pro only comes in October. But with a new HuaweiProprocessor, the Kirin 980.
It had long been clear that Huawei would officially present the Kirin 980 at the IFA. As Android Authority now reported, the new chip was officially confirmed in a press release today. The new chipset is manufactured using the 7mn process and makes its first appearance in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
Kirin 980 supposedly 20 Procent faster
If you continue reading through the press release, you have the Mate 20 Pro officially confirmed for October 16th. This should be around 20 Procent faster than that Mate 10 Pro be. In addition, one calculates with 40 Procent more economy compared to 10-np chips. The AI chip is also said to have been improved a lot. For example, it should now be able to perform tasks faster and be more accurate. But we won't see exactly what that means until October.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro: Those are the rumors so far
Of course, there are already numerous rumors about the upcoming Huawei flagship. That's how the Mate 20 should be Pro looking like an iPhone X on top and a Galaxy S9 Plus on the bottom.
