Huawei Mate 20X 5G officially presented
Yesterday, Huawei announced in a press release that the Huawei Mate 20X 5G will also come to Germany. Austria will have to wait a little longer - but there is still no 5G anyway. But the smartphone is there anyway.
The Huawei Mate 20X 5G was introduced some time ago - but not with us. Now it is also coming to Germany. One can also assume that the smartphone will soon make it to Austria. Until then we will deliver the first specs for the new offshoot. Generally it's the same size as that Huawei Mate 20X, which is already available in this country. There is a large 7,21 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels. Inside, the latest Kirin 980 chip does its job, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM.
Huawei Mate 20X 5G: Otherwise the same, but with a 5G modem
Overall, the 5G variant is exactly the same as the Mate 20X itself, only it has a 5G modem. With this, the 5G network - if available from us - prouse without problems. However, there is still not a single network for mobile phone customers - not in Germany anyway, Austria is there with it 5G network in Linz a little further. Under the best conditions, the smartphone could then download up to 2 GB in just 20 seconds.
So that you don't run out of juice with 5G, there is still a 4.200 mAh battery under the hood. In addition, lettering has been printed on the back, which draws attention to a smartphone with the 5th generation of the mobile network. How you like it is a matter of taste. I personally find the size of the smartphone borderline, there would be a Huawei P30 Pro converted into a 5G smartphone.
Price and availability
At the beginning of July 2019, the Huawei Mate 20X 5G in the color "Emerald Green" will be available in German stores for 999 euros (RRP). There is still no information about availability in Austria. There is also a Huawei M-Pen with 4.096 pressure levels for the smartphone - you can get it for 39,99 euros extra.
