Huawei Mate 20X presented: The gaming smartphone with a huge display

Who would have expected that: Huawei actually has the Mate 20X gaming smartphone next to it in London this evening Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro presented. The smartphone with a 7,21-inch display is a real giant monster. But unfortunately there is a catch.
In general, the Mate 20X is intended to be an alternative and competitor to Samsung's Note 9. At 6,4 inches, the latter is still a lot smaller than the new model from Huawei. Despite this, it would be the perfect smartphone between the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. After all, the Mate 20X also has a jack plug, a subtle notch and is still a good price.
Mate 20X: decent camera smartphone with a pen
While the Huawei Mate 20X is more suitable for gaming, it is of course fully equipped. The 7,21-inch OLED display with 2244 x 1080 pixels (FHD +) solves this. Inside, of course, is the Kirin 980, together with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The equipment of the camera is identical to that of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. There is also an anti-slip glass surface on the back.

The mini notch on the front also has a 24 megapixel front camera, so there is no 3D face unlocking like on the Mate 20 Pro. The battery offers a full 5000 mAh of power for hours of gaming. The stereo speakers should also provide an extra sound experience. Another killer feature is the Huawei M-Pen, a clear nod to Samsung's Note. Oh yes, the jack plug is also on board.
Mate 20X: With gamepad and extra cooling
Of course, a real gaming smartphone is missing a gamepad. Huawei plans to offer this soon, but has not yet announced a specific price. They have also thought about the cooling system: This should beat all previous smartphones and still remain cool even at peak performance. It is a shame that there is no wireless charging, although it is possible with the Mate 20 Pro.
Unfortunately, there is no information about a release in Germany and Austria yet. At a price of 899 euros, the Mate 20X would be cheaper than the Mate 20 Pro despite better(?) features. However, from October 26th there will only be one version with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory in one color. On the Huawei product page there is more information.
