Next to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro A few weeks ago, Huawei introduced two more, better devices from the Mate 40 series, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ and a Porsche Edition, before. Unfortunately, these devices never officially made it to us in Europe. However, there is a way you can buy the smartphones.

Briefly to classify: The Mate 40 Pro+ is an even better version of the Mate 40 Pro. It's made of ceramic instead of glass, has more RAM and an even better telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. So everything is very similar to the Huawei P40 Pro+. The Mate 40 RS is the Porsche version, which externally stands out from the rest of the Mate 40 series with a different camera layout.

The smartphone is available from the online shop TradingShenzhen or about the CECT shop. They have almost all relevant China smartphones, which unfortunately cannot be bought in Europe. At TradingShenzen the Mate costs 40 Pro+ with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB flash memory over 1.800 euros. That is really a proud price and again significantly more than with almost all other smartphones. One reason for this enormous price could be that the smartphone is currently, due to bottlenecks in the in-house KirinProcessors, is only available in very small numbers.

At the CECT shop, the Plus model is a little cheaper at 1.700 euros. The colors black and white are available in both shops.

The Porsche edition is also available in the online shop TradingShenzhen or CECT shop available. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory costs over 2.100 and over 2.200 euros, respectively. For double memory you have to put about 2.450 euros on the table. These are enormously high prices, but this smartphone is actually only intended for absolute enthusiasts and Porsche fans. The target group for this device is therefore very small.

You can use both smartphones prouse without problems in German etc. and in the sales box there is of course an EU power adapter.
