The latest smartphones from Huawei are currently the Huawei P9 and P9 Lite. Since April 2016, they have been delivered more than 10 million times. No Huawei smartphone has been as successful as the P9.

How yourself GSMArena reported, Richard Yu, the CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG), has announced that he has broken the 10 million mark in sales of the P9. The 9 million mark was only exceeded in early November, six months after the release.

30 million smartphones shipped in the third quarter

As Yu mentioned in the report, Huawei sold 33,59 million smartphones in the third quarter. Compared to the third section in 2015, this is 23 Procent more. These figures correspond to a market share of 44 in the middle to upper class segment Procent. In addition, he emphasizes that it was important to partner with Leica and develop the camera of the P9 together with the German company. This sets a new benchmark for modern camera technology and delivers excellent user experiences, according to Yu.

As announced at IFA 2016, Huawei wants to become the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world by 2018. We are looking forward to the coming year.
