In September we expect, among other things, the launch of the iPhone 14 Max. However, it is still unclear whether this will be available on time. reason for it are Proproduction delays.

Also this year Apple is to introduce four new iPhones, but with a slightly different distribution of display sizes. Once an iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max and once two different sizes Promodels, with the Max and Non-Max versions each having the same screen size. The four smartphones will again be manufactured in China, including in Shanghai.

A lockdown has been imposed there in recent weeks due to several coronavirus cases. This primarily influenced the people living there Proproduction company Pegatron, which means that the production of the iPhone 14 Max is now behind schedule.

iPhone 14 Max could maybe be finished in time after all

All four iPhone 14 models are currently in the "engineering verification test". While all devices except the iPhone 14 Max are en masse just in time for the start of Augustproshould go into production, the start of the Propostpone the production of this by several weeks.

However, Apple is unlikely to have changed the shipping schedules for the forthcoming iPhones just yet. According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the reason for this is that although the device in question is late, the manufacturers are working overtime so that there are no more serious delays.

Of course, it is not yet possible to say how the availability of the smartphone will ultimately turn out. We still have to wait a few weeks for the presentation of the devices.
