iPhone X: Sales stop possible

For almost three months now, you can do the hotly anticipated in advance iPhone X buy online and in stores. But now it is supposed to be the case that Apple will stop selling the current iPhone X with the next generation of iPhones. All information.

circumstances

Ming-Chi Kuo, an employee of the security company KGI, is said to have found out that Apple wants to stop selling the iPhone X, the anniversary device. According to him, the sales stop should come into force in autumn 2018, exactly when Apple could present the next generation of their iPhones. Something like that is very atypical for Apple. The last iPhone the company stopped selling was the iPhone 5c four years ago. Even so, it is not even that unlikely that Ming - Chi Kuo is right. In the past, his predictions often turned out to be correct.

reasons

According to Kuo, the entire sales ban should not come into force without good reason. A first big reason is that the iPhone X didn't sell as often as Tim Cook would have liked. This is most likely due to the fact that the iPhone X is not exactly the cheapest smartphone from the company with a price tag of over € 1000.

Another reason should be that in China, an otherwise very large market for Apple, there is also little interest in the expensive iPhone. Apple could dem Procounteract the problem by lowering the sales price. But that would bring greater losses, since the Proproduction costs of the device are quite high.

Episode

It is now suspected that Apple will introduce three new devices this year, all of which look similar to the iPhone X and have Face ID installed. The first device is said to be the iPhone X Plus, which could have a 6,5″ OLED display. It should also have a dual camera, 4GB RAM and possibly the new A12 Prohave processor.

The second device is said to be the most similar to the current iPhone X, which also has a 5,8″ OLED display. As with the iPhone X Plus, there is also the dual camera as well as 4GB RAM and the A12 Proprocessor. Finally, a cheaper iPhone should come, which could accommodate a 6,1″ large LCD display. It is also assumed that a single camera is installed and only 3GB of RAM. Of the Prozessor is also said to be weaker than the suspected A12.

The article will be updated as new information becomes available on the subject.

A stop on sales would be good. Then you wouldn't see more people walking around with the garbage.

As you can see: A smartphone that is expensive on the one hand, but still has a lot of power. Everybody as he wishes. 🙂
Nothing for me, but I wouldn't call it rubbish directly.
