At WWDC 2019, we saw a new Mac again after six years Pro. Now the good piece landed in the Apple Store.

The starting price of the new Mac Pro in Germany is 6.499 euros. For that you get an eight-core XeonProprocessor from Intel, 32 gigabytes of RAM, a Radeon Pro 580X graphics card, 256 gigabytes of SSD storage and a Magic Mouse 2 on top. These specs alone are overkill for the average consumer. Well, if you have the money and you need the performance, you can go for a 28-core chip, 1,5 terabytes of RAM, two Radeons Pro Upgrade to Vega II, to 8 terabyte SSD and to Apple Afterburner (which improves video performance). Then you add the mouse-trackpad combo, a case with wheels and Final Cut and Logic Pro with that, you end up with a proud price of 63.127,98 euros.

Suitable accessories: Pro DisplayXDR

Apple has also been selling this as a suitable accessory since yesterday Pro DisplayXDR. It was also presented at WWDC 2019 and comes with a 32-inch HDR display that has a resolution of 6K, thin display bezels and an extremely good contrast ratio (meaning that black really looks like deep black and white like real white). The maximum brightness is 1.600 nits, which no other monitor can currently offer. In terms of price, the thing starts at 5.499 euros, which includes the monitor stand once more extra.

The first orders should be delivered by December 18th.
