Motorola will introduce a new Edge series in the coming months, this was already known. We have now researched technical data for two of the next devices.

The best of the three Edge smartphones is being developed under the code name "Berlin". This will be with the new Snapdragon 778G Proprocessor, which is also used in the Honor 50/Pro is installed. Ruben Castano, Vice President of Motorola, already had that in May approved, but which device was not yet known. We had already published the camera details of the Motorola Edge “Berlin” in the past, now we have more information about the cameras. Because Motorola will bring two versions on the market. A European and a "North America" ​​version. This will appear at least at Verizon. The main differences are in the ultra-wide-angle camera and in the camera for depth information. The NA version will not support "Super Zoom" either.

We currently have the names "Emerald" (green), "Stout" (brown) and "White" as color variants. But this could also be the colors of the current one Probe totypes and therefore change. As soon as this changes we will report.

Motorola Edge "Pstar"

Then there is the device, which is listed internally as “Sierra”. That's what it was called in the list that Evleaks had. We can now report that this has the "public" codename "PStar". We have “XT2153” as the model number. Black, white, and blue should appear as colors. an exact one ProWe have not yet been able to determine the processor, but the device runs on the Qualcomm "Kona" platform, on which the Snapdragon 865/870 also run. But we cannot say whether and which of the two Proprocessors could be used. But we know that the X55 5G modem is used.

According to our information, the RAM will be 6/8 or 12 gigabytes and run with 128 or 256 gigabytes of memory.

Motorola Edge "PStar": cameras

The cameras are identical to those of the Edge Berlin. The "Berlin" device has far more camera features than PStar. At this point in time, we cannot say whether these are the only differences.

Motorola Edge "Kyoto"

UPDATE: The Motorola Edge "Kyoto" comes with a Dimensity 720 Proprocessor, this has already been installed in many inexpensive BBK and Samsung devices. According to our information, the device comes with 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM memory and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. The camera sensors are still the ones mentioned below.
