Note 9: Oreo users in Germany get Android Pie

After German Note 9 buyers participating in the betaProgram for Android Pie attended the got finished version of the update, are now taken care of who previously had to put up with Oreo.

SamMobile reports that Samsung is now using the completed Android Pie update One UI also released for owners of a Note 9 in Germany who are not participating in the betaProgram participations. For some reason unknown to me, this update has three version designations, viz N960FXXU2CSA2, N960FOXM2CSA2 and N960FXXU2CLRT. With a download size of almost 1,6 gigabytes, it is considerably larger than the update for beta participants. The latest security patch for January comes with the latest version of Android and Samsung's new user interface.

According to SamMobile, it is unclear whether Samsung will roll out the update to Android Pie worldwide.
