The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus presented its two new smartphones today. The OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro are finally here. We have all the details and specs for the smartphones for you.

OnePlus is already playing a major role in the smartphone market. For this reason, you now want to be one of the really big ones - that's what you're trying to do here with the OnePlus 7 Pro very clearly. It boasts some features that the OnePlus 7 doesn't have. Likewise, for OnePlus itself, the slimmed-down model doesn't really seem worth mentioning. You get it when you imagine it in the livestream about not shown.

OnePlus 7: All the details and specs

Generally speaking, the OnePlus 7 only replaces that OnePlus 6T. That's why it doesn't really differ from its predecessor. The OnePlus 7 measures 157,7 x 74,8 x 8,2 mm, comes with a 6,41-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels. It is in 19,5:9 and still has a display cutout on the top - the "Notch". Inside is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-coreProprocessor, together with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. A Qualcomm Adreno 640 is installed as the graphics unit. The internal UFS 3.0 NAND storage is 128 or 256 GB.

Instead of a triple camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro there is only one dual camera here. This has a resolution of 48 MP (F/1.7, OIS, EIS) and 5 megapixels (F/2.4) on the back. A Sony IMX586 is now used as the chip. Videos are possible in 4K up to a maximum of 60 fps. The front camera offers a resolution of 16 megapixels (F/2.0). The battery is 3700 mAh and can be charged quickly using Warp Charge 30.

Other extras include the new stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, a fingerprint sensor in the display and the Android 9.0 operating system with OxygenOS. Unfortunately, there is still no wireless charging and IP certification.

OnePlus 7 Pro: At the forefront

The OnePlus 7 Pro now wants to play at the very top - that's exactly why you gave your flagship some power. It therefore also differs significantly from the smaller 7-series model and even comes with a pop-up camera. In general, with its dimensions of 162,6 x 75,9 x 8,8 mm, it is a fairly large smartphone, which comes with a 6,67 inch AMOLED display in the display diagonal. The resolution is also higher and is 3.120 x 1.440 pixels here – the refresh rate is also 90 Hz here. This is usually only found on gaming smartphones such as this Razer Phone 2.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor is also at work under the hood.Proprocessor, together with 6 GB, 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. This equipment with 128 GB or 256 GB or 256 GB of internal memory. The Adreno 640 graphics unit is also used here.

The camera is probably the special feature of the OnePlus 7 Pro. So there is no longer a front camera - at least not visible anymore. This now moves up if necessary and then hides back in the smartphone so as not to waste any display space. The “notch”, which not everyone likes, is now also gone. The triple camera comes with a 48 megapixel lens (F/1.6, OIS), a 16 megapixel wide-angle camera (F/2.2, OIS, 117°) and an 8 megapixel lens with 3x optical zoom (F/2.4, 78mm focal length ). In contrast to the smaller 7 model, there is also a laser autofocus (LAF) here. The front camera also has a resolution of 16 megapixels.

For further features of the OnePlus 7 Pro also include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 4000 mAh battery, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0 and a fingerprint sensor in the display. Android 9 is used as the operating system again – for the Android Q beta is the OnePlus 7 Pro equally qualified. That too Promodel unfortunately does not have an official IP certification, but according to the manufacturer it should still be waterproof. Wireless charging is also not on board.

There is also no notification LED (anymore) - you have now come up with something new. It is called "Horizon Light", which is to follow with an update:

OnePlus 7 Series: These are the prices

The OnePlus 7 costs 6 euros in the version with 128 GB RAM and 559 GB storage. The variant with 8 GB / 256 GB costs 609 euros - both variants come in the color "Mirror Gray". There are no other color variants. The OnePlus 7 should be available from June.

I always wanted good performance for little money. The second point no longer applies to OnePlus. Off to Xiaomi for me.
