For a long time it was unclear when the Chinese manufacturer would finally present its new OnePlus 8T. Now we finally know the official date. In addition, the prices and release date of the upcoming top model were accidentally leaked. You can find out all this and much more here in this article.

As OnePlus recently announced on Twitter, the 8T will be presented to the public on October 14th. At 16 p.m. German time, it will be similar to the OnePlus Northto give a virtual event again.

OnePlus 8T: This is how it should look

The well-known leaker OnLeaks posted a few days ago Twitter For the first time, render images that are supposed to show the design of the upcoming T-smartphone in advance.

Hardly anything should change on the front: You can see a large, flat display with a punch hole in the upper left corner. The display bezels seem to be very small, but these are just renders that give us a good insight into the design, but can still deviate from reality.

There should be more changes on the back: While OnePlus was last year's 7T put on a circular camera module in the middle, the upcoming 8T will be equipped with a rectangular camera module in the upper left corner. The cameras are arranged in a similar way to the current A-series from Samsung, which can be seen in the following picture.

Probably not a Oneplus 8T Pro

Last year, OnePlus introduced the 7T Pro yet another, better T variant. Everything is supposed to be different this year, because there will probably only be one 8T. This was also confirmed by Max J., who was well informed in advance, on Twitter. In addition, the manufacturer only mentioned the 8T in the official announcement. So one can assume that there will probably be no Oneplus 8T this year Pro will give.

OnePlus 8T: price and availability

As OnePlus officially announced, the OnePlus 8T will be presented on October 14th. The smartphone should be available about a week later, which has already been stated on Amazon.

As already reported by us, the prices are already known. The OnePlus 8T with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is said to cost 693,18 euros or 699,99 euros (depending on the VAT rate). There will also be a smaller version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory for 599 euros. That would make it as expensive as its predecessor, the OnePlus 7T, and even 100 euros cheaper than the OnePlus 8.
