Play Store gets a new feature and two new categories

Besides gmail At the moment, the focus at Google is probably also on improving the Play Store. Two new categories and a new feature are currently being distributed.

First of all: The XDA Developers write that the two new categories and the new feature will be distributed separately to an indefinite number of users. We from TechnikNews see neither of the two things received yet. But what categories are we talking about? In the report from XDA Developers you can see on a screenshot that there are now the “New” and “Premium” departments in the games section. In the latter category, only paid games are displayed. In addition to new releases, “New” also includes games for which you can register in advance.

Deals and news notifications

The feature I mentioned above is notifications about deals and news. However, you have to activate these notifications via a pop-up, which should appear sooner or later when you open the Play Store. XDA added, however, that so far no messages about offers or news have been received. Do you already have the new categories and the notification feature in your Play Store? Write it in the comments.
