Realme GT: Inexpensive top smartphone with Snapdragon 888 presented
On March 4th, the Realme GT was officially launched for the Chinese market. For the equivalent of around 360 euros, customers are offered, among other things, a 120Hz AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm.
For the time being, the smartphone can only be bought in China, although it will soon appear in Europe. Unfortunately, there is currently no official launch date.
Realme GT: Technical Specifications
One of the highlights of the Realme GT is without question the huge 6,43 inch display on the front. This is an AMOLED panel, which has a pleasantly sharp resolution with FHD+ and even supports a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The display is interrupted at the top left by a small punch hole that houses the front camera. The current top works under the hoodproprocessor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888. Depending on the version, this is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. The in-house Realme UI in version 2.0, based on Android 11, is used as the software. The battery has a capacity of 4.500 mAh and can be charged quickly with up to 65 watts. Unlike some other manufacturers, the appropriate power supply is included in the scope of delivery. Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos are also on board. There is even a 3,5 mm jack connection.
Finally, let's take a closer look at the cameras, which are arranged in a rectangle at the top left. The manufacturer has given the Realme GT a triple camera, which is set up as follows: a 64 megapixel main camera, an ultra wide-angle camera with 8 megapixels and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
