OnePlus teamed up with automaker McLaren and unveiled the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition. This is faster than the normal one OnePlus 6T and also looks a little different.

But why are McLaren and OnePlus doing something together? To do this, you have to look at the past of both companies. Both started on a very small scale and are now known all over the world. The partnership was thus evident.

Carbon with orange accents

The OnePlus 6T in the McLaren edition looks pretty similar to the normal OnePlus 6T. But there was a little screwing on the back. It consists of black glass with a layer of carbon underneath. The pattern of the carbon fiber is hardly, but still, visible. A carbon cover is included in the scope of delivery to match the back. To show a relationship to McLaren, there are orange accents in the lower area of the back. The USB-C cable is also orange. The display is otherwise the same as in the normal OnePlus 6T.

With 10 gigabytes of RAM

With the McLaren version of the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus relies heavily on speed. This is already noticeable when charging the smartphone, where Warp Charge is used. Dash Charge no longer exists because the trademark rights can no longer be secured. The new charging technology can recharge the OnePlus 6T in the McLaren Edition within 20 minutes so that the battery life lasts for a whole day of use. Pretty impressive. The internal memory is 256 gigabytes, the RAM even 10 gigabytes. However, it is questionable whether this limit will ever be reached today. Of the Proprocessor is the same as in the normal OnePlus 6T.

The OnePlus 6T in the McLaren edition costs 699 euros and can be ordered from us from December 13th.
