After much speculation and rumors, OnePlus posted that today OnePlus 6T before. The new flagship killer with a droplet notch and a fingerprint sensor in the display. All the details about the new smartphone.
The OnePlus 6T looks practically the same as its predecessor OnePlus 6, which was presented in the spring. On the back, above a OnePlus logo, there is again the vertically built-in dual camera. The young smartphone company opted for glass again for the material. In terms of colors, you can initially only choose between Midnight Black and Mirror Black.
He stayed the same Proprocessor. Here, OnePlus again installed the Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm in combination with 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 gigabytes of memory. The graphics unit inside is the Adreno 630. Very few things have changed on the camera. The two lenses again have a resolution of 20 and 16 megapixels at f/1.7. Both cameras support optical and electronic image stabilization. The improvements in the recording of low-light images were particularly highlighted.
That is new
In addition to the things that have stayed the same or have only been slightly improved, there are also some completely new features. OnePlus has now built a fingerprint sensor into the display. The manufacturers call this "Screen Unlock". Placing your finger on the OnePlus 6T should unlock itself within 0,34 seconds, which is quite impressive.

Then the display was completely renewed. It is now 6,41 inches, is based on AMOLED and has a resolution of 1080p. The aspect ratio of the touchscreen is 19,5 to 9. The battery, which is now 3700mAh, can be recharged within a very short time thanks to Fast Charge. OnePlus has apparently said goodbye to “Dash Charge”. The software already runs Android 9.0 with the OxygenOS interface, which is very similar to Stock Android.

Prices and availability
The OnePlus 6T starts at € 549 for 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage in Mirror Black. For 30 euros more you can get 8 GB of RAM in Mirror Black and for 629 euros in Midnight Black. Advance sales are scheduled to start next week. In the USA there is still a trade-in campaign in the T-Mobile stores, where you can get up to $ 300 for your old smartphone.
