Samsung Galaxy A9 with quad main camera officially presented

Another day in October goes by with a new smartphone. This time from Samsung: Today the Samsung Galaxy A9 mid-range smartphone with four main cameras was presented. Who needs that?
The battle for the most cameras never ends: After two cameras, it was the Huawei P20 Pro three, now it's four. With the Galaxy A9, Samsung introduced the first quad-camera smartphone. Only recently you have with the Galaxy A7 the first smartphone with a triple camera in the Samsung range presented.

The mid-range candidate comes with a 6,3-inch display with FHD + resolution. Inside, the Snapdragon 660 clocks, together with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card. Not that exciting, after all, the focus is clearly on the four cameras.
The first lens has a resolution of 24 megapixels and comes with a wide angle (f / 1.7) plus autofocus. The second is a 10 mega game telephoto lens with 2x zoom, together with autofocus and f / 2.4. One of the last two cameras has a resolution of 8 megapixels (f / 2.4) and is responsible for ultra-wide-angle shots, while the last camera takes pictures with 5 megapixels (f / 2.0) and a bokeh effect for portraits.

Although the front camera is almost unimportant with so many main cameras, here it is added: This has a resolution of 24 megapixels, but otherwise offers no flash or autofocus. The software is installed by default Android 8.0, together with the Samsung Experience UI in version 10. WLAN 2,4 GHz + 5 GHz, together with Bluetooth 5.0, is also exciting. The battery has a capacity of 3720 mAh and is refueled using the USB-C connection.
