At IKEA in Germany, sales of the smart Speaker Symfonisk and the smart roller blinds have started. The former was developed together with Sonos - and packed the technology into a lamp, for example. You can Probuy products already.

For a long time we know that IKEA is working with Sonos on a stylish range of speakers. Here we already knew that the speakers on the market in August should come. Now it's August and all Proproduct pages can already be found on the web. In addition, there has long been speculation about smart roller blinds from IKEA. You can now find these online. However, there are Proproduct pages so far only at IKEA Germany - in Austria you will only find the note "from August 2019".

So far, two speakers have been worked out together with Sonos. A loudspeaker comes as a "classic" speaker and can be hung or set up. Due to its fabric cover, it looks less than a loudspeaker. So it certainly fits well in some apartments. In addition to the Symfonisk loudspeaker, there is also the Symfonisk table lamp - a loudspeaker packed in a floor lamp. Corresponding accessories for the loudspeaker, such as brackets, are already online and to be found here.

Both are online Proproducts not yet available. However, collection is definitely possible in selected IKEA stores.

You will also start with smart roller blinds. Many have already equipped almost their entire house with Smart Home - only "entry-level solutions" for roller blinds have so far been a gap on the market. IKEA is now filling this with the "Fyrtur" and "Kadrilj" models. The first is a real blackout blind and the second is more against direct sunlight. That's why the first model costs 20 euros more. The battery-operated roller blinds with remote control and app control are to be launched on the market from August. Control with Alexa should also be possible.

is the speaker tested by the editors?

Kulli

Interesting speakers with a good price. I'm looking forward to the tests, I am already thinking about a purchase.
