I know exactly what you've been waiting for: ours TechnikNews Weekly. This Sunday, too, the most popular articles will be served punctually here in your browser - very easy and compact. What are you waiting for? Here we go!

This week you were particularly interested in David's review, in which he took a closer look at the Google Pixel 4 XL. We also followed the announcements for IFA 2020 closely, and we did not miss the bankruptcy of Libratone. We'll bring you up to date.

Google Pixel 4 XL under the microscope

In case you're thinking: phew, the Pixel 4 XL is already old! No, actually not. It was released in October 2019 and is still a good device, as David found out in his review. However, his trip with the device was quite a "rollercoaster of emotions", as he writes. So there were some points that were really good, on the other hand also some no-go's. Of course, the latter does not work at all in the intimate relationship with the smartphone. He writes in his test what those were:

IFA 2020: Journalists and companies are coming, the rest please stay at home!

This sentence could be used to describe the upcoming IFA 2020. We from TechnikNews have already seen the technology fair twice, but never as unusual as it will be this year. The fair will be reserved exclusively for journalists and companies from all over the world - if they can enter at all. If the latter is the case, you are welcome to visit the fair, provided you receive an exclusive invitation. The keynotes will also take place differently than usual. Nils has put together for you who is allowed to go to the fair exactly and how.

Libratone is bankrupt

There was also sad news this week: Libratone is broke. The company is now looking for a new successor. Although the Libratone Track Air + has certainly made a name for itself, it was probably not enough to keep it in the black. According to Libratone, a new investor should be found shortly, until then customers will unfortunately have to get by without support, updates and warranty claims.
