Twitter for iPad gets a new design
Many iPad apps take advantage of the large display, for example by using several columns. Twitter didn't do that before, which has now changed.
I love to scroll through my Twitter feed, especially mine iPad Air 3, but I don't use the original Twitter app. And there is a reason for this: the client for the tablet does not make optimal use of the display area. As a user, you have so far only got an inflated iPhone app. That means that you are confronted with a lot of white space. For this reason I use Tweetbot. As it now seems, Twitter worked on the point of criticism and got rid of it.
Twitter: Column view approaching
The social network is rolling out an update that comes with a new design (you need to be patient here, it will take time until everyone receives the update). The lower bar has now moved to the left side, while opposite you can see a second column with further content. For example, you can find people to follow, search results or trends there.
The Twitter app can be found free of charge in the App Store.
