Apple released an update for iOS 9 on Monday evening. This should offer more security and stability. Of the Download is now available for all compatible devices.

Although Apple is already working hard on iOS 10 and the iOS 9 successor is already on the WWDC 2016 presented the group from Cupertino continues to worry about the current iOS and has now released an update to iOS 9.3.3. This is intended to offer users more security on their devices on the one hand, and more stability and a better user experience on the other.

Last update before iOS 10: no more new features in iOS 9.3.3

The update is around 40 megabytes in size and, as always, is installed over-the-air in the system settings. All devices from the iPhone 4S to the current iPhone 6S are compatible. With the iPads, all devices from iPad 2 are supported. Since iOS 9.3.3 will probably be the last update before iOS 10, this will be in Autumn available to all users there are no new features in this update.

As security has been improved with this update, it is possible that current jailbreaks for iOS 9 will no longer work with this update. But a new jailbreak for the current version 9.3.3 is already in the works.

What do you think of the new update? Do you think it's a shame that there weren't any new features before iOS 10? Write it in the comments!
