The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro were officially unveiled by Xiaomi today. TechnikNews has all the information about the Xiaomi devices. The “Mi” brand is being dropped for the first time, so the devices are now only called 11T/Pro.
Xiaomi 11t
The Xiaomi 11T is the cheaper of the two devices. It comes with a modified version of the “MediaTek Dimensity 1200” processor, which is called “MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra”. The 6 nm chip was already available in OnePlus North 2 (there in an AI version), which delivered good performance. The processor is paired with 8 gigabytes of RAM and either 128 or 256 gigabytes of internal UFS 3.1 storage. For the display, Xiaomi uses a 6.67″ Full HD+ 120 Hertz AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate (only between 60 and 120).
The display glass is Gorilla Glass Victus, the maximum brightness is 1000 nits. The device has three cameras on the back, a 108 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 5 megapixel "tele-macro camera". So the setup is a little worse than that of the My 11, the ultra-wide-angle camera has 8 instead of 13 megapixels. The front camera, which sits in a punch hole in the middle of the display, has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The fingerprint sensor is not in the display, but in the on / off switch on the right side. The device has two stereo speakers and supports all common cellular standards (5G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, WLAN 6). However, it doesn't have wireless charging. The software is MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11. In the run-up to the event, Xiaomi has already announcedthat the 11T series will get three OS updates and four years of security updates. The battery is probably one of the highlights of the series, the 5000 mAh battery can be charged with 67 watts via cable. Xiaomi speaks from 36 to 0 in 100 minutes, our test will clarify this.

The Pro version of the Xiaomi 11T offers a few more "flagship features". For example, the processor used is not the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra, but the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The device is also available in a 12 gigabyte RAM version, as well as the "normal" 11T versions (8 128/256). The cameras are identical, as is the display.

The rapid charging technology "Xiaomi Hyper Charge", which charges the device with 120 watts, is unique. This charges the 5000 mAh battery within 17 Minutes from 0 to 100 percent. Within 10 minutes, the battery is recharged to 72 percent, which should last the user a day. Xiaomi insists on TÜV Rheinland verification, which is supposed to confirm the safety and durability of the technology. The company speaks of "80% battery health after 800 cycles."
The stereo speakers in the Pro version are made with “Harman Kardon”, those of the normal 11T are not. The fingerprint sensor is also located in the on/off button.
