The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro were officially unveiled by Xiaomi today. TechnikNews has all the information about the Xiaomi devices. The "Mi" mark is dropped for the first time, so the devices are only called 11T/Pro.

Xiaomi 11t

The Xiaomi 11T is the cheaper of the two devices. It comes with a modified version of the "MediaTek Dimensity 1200" Proprocessor, this one is called "MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra". The 6 nm chip came in the OnePlus North 2 used (there in an AI version), which delivered good performance. Of the Prozessor is paired with 8 gigabytes of RAM and either 128 or 256 gigabytes of internal UFS 3.1 storage. As a display, Xiaomi relies on a 6.67″ Full HD+ 120 Hertz AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate (only between 60 and 120).

The display glass is Gorilla Glass Victus, the maximum brightness is 1000 nits. The device has three cameras on the back, a 108 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 5 megapixel "tele-macro camera". So the setup is a little worse than that of the My 11, the ultra-wide-angle camera has 8 instead of 13 megapixels. The front camera, which sits in a punch hole in the middle of the display, has a resolution of 16 megapixels.

The fingerprint sensor is not in the display, but in the on / off switch on the right side. The device has two stereo speakers and supports all common cellular standards (5G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, WLAN 6). However, it doesn't have wireless charging. The software is MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11. In the run-up to the event, Xiaomi has already announcedthat the 11T series will get three OS updates and four years of security updates. The battery is probably one of the highlights of the series, the 5000 mAh battery can be charged with 67 watts via cable. Xiaomi speaks from 36 to 0 in 100 minutes, our test will clarify this.

The Xiaomi 11T is available in the colors "Meteroite Gray, Moonlight White and Celestial Blue" for 549 Euro with 128 and 599 with 256 gigabytes of storage from 1.10 in the sale. The pre-order phase starts today, pre-orderers get a Mi Watch for free (while stocks last).

Xiaomi 11t Pro

The Proversion of the Xiaomi 11T offers some more "flagship features". So becomes as ProThe processor is not used by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra, but by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The device is also available in a 12 gigabyte RAM version, but also the "normal" 11T versions (8 128/256). The cameras are identical, as is the display.

The rapid charging technology "Xiaomi Hyper Charge", which charges the device with 120 watts, is unique. This charges the 5000 mAh battery within 17 Minutes from 0 to 100 Procent. Within 10 minutes the battery will be back to 72 Procent filled, so that the user should be able to get by for a day. Xiaomi strongly insists on TÜV Rheinland verification, which should confirm the safety and longevity of the technology. The group speaks of "80% battery health after 800 cycles".

The stereo speakers are in the Pro-Version with "Harman Kardon" was created, that of the normal 11T was not. The fingerprint sensor is also located in the on/off button. The Xiaomi 11T Pro is also available in the colors "Meteroite Gray, Moonlight White and Celestial Blue" for 649 Euro with 128 and 699 Euro with 256 gigabytes of storage from 1.10 in the sale.
