ZTE introduced the new ZTE S30 series in China, consisting of a regular S30, an S30 SE and an S30 Pro, officially before. The highlight is without question the huge 6,67 inch 144Hz OLED display of the Pro-model.

Unfortunately, the S30 series from ZTE was initially only presented for the Chinese market. It is currently unclear whether and when the devices will appear in Europe.

ZTE S30

The ZTE S30 has a 6,67-inch LC display on the front, which comes with a Full HD+ resolution and a smooth refresh rate of 90 Hertz. The screen is only interrupted by a small, centrally located punch hole, which houses the 16 megapixel front camera. as ProThe processor uses the Dimensity 720 from MediaTek, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM and, depending on the version, 128 or 256 GB of internal memory.

The battery is 4.000 mAh and can be charged quickly with a cable with up to 30 watts. The manufacturer has given the S30 a quad camera on the back, which can be found in a black, eye-catching rectangle at the top left. A 64 megapixel camera is used as the main sensor, which is supported by an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8 megapixels and two additional sensors with 5 and 2 megapixels. The latter two sensors are responsible for macro shots and depth effects.

The S30 is priced at the equivalent of 285 euros.

ZTE S30SE

The SE model is least equipped, which is already evident from the display. This 6,67 inch IPS panel also has a resolution of Full HD +, but only supports a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. Here, too, the front camera sits in a small punch hole in the display. The S30 SE is powered by the somewhat weaker Dimensity 700 from MediaTek, which is supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory.

The battery has a proud capacity of 6.000 mAh and is therefore sure to ensure excellent runtimes. ZTE has positioned three cameras on the back, which are set up as follows: 48 megapixels + 5 megapixels + 2 megapixels.

The S30 SE with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage is available for the equivalent of 220 euros.

ZTE S30 Pro

This device got its name just because of the display on the front Pro earned. Unlike the cheaper brothers, this is a high-quality OLED display. It has a pleasantly sharp resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and, as a special feature, supports 144 Hertz. There is a small punch hole in the top center of the panel, which houses the 44 megapixel front camera. A 5G-capable Qualcomm works under the hood Proprocessor, namely the Snapdragon 768G. It is supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

A 4.200 mAh battery, which can be charged extremely quickly with a cable with up to 55 watts, should ensure long runtimes. The cameras hardly differ from those of the regular S30. Here, too, the main sensor has a resolution of 64 and the ultra-wide-angle camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. There are also two additional sensors, each with 2 megapixels, which are used for macro shots and depth effects.

The ZTE S30 Pro is available for the equivalent of 390 euros.
