WhatsApp doesn't work: you can do that

Tip 1: Check whether the WhatsApp servers are down
If WhatsApp does not work, the smartphone does not go on strike, but the WhatsApp servers are down. Then the messages can usually not be delivered to the chat partner or the "last online" status of others is not displayed (unless it was deactivated for the contact). If a bug becomes known to WhatsApp, it will be reported to the currently inactive Twitter account @wa_status or you can call up the current server status in the WhatsApp settings via the menu "Settings> Info and Help> System Status".

If you have followed the tips above and WhatsApp does not seem to be malfunctioning, the best thing to do is to go to any website on the Internet (e.g. www.techniknews.net or www.google.de). It is also advisable to check the current WiFi connection and reception in the status bar at the top.
Tip 3: restart your smartphone

Tip 4: completely reinstall WhatsApp
If the tips above didn't help, they could ProThe solution would be to reinstall WhatsApp. If you want to keep your chats, you have to back them up first - here's how: go to the settings "Chats > Chat backup > Back up now". A local backup will now be carried out on your smartphone - this way you will keep all chats during the uninstallation. Once you have uninstalled Messenger, go to the Play or App Store and download the latest version of WhatsApp there. Then start the application, verify your number and insert the backup again.
Tip 5: Just wait or WhatsApp Web probeers
If not a single tip helped, all you can do is wait. Carry out the tips again in a few hours - maybe then everything will work again. Normally it shouldn't happen that not a single tip helps. Alternatively you can probeer, if you Web WhatsApp can use. If you don't know how to activate WhatsApp Web, go to: "WhatsApp Settings> WhatsApp Web", everything else is explained there. If that doesn't work either, all you can do is wait and see.
