Honor 10, Honor View 10 and Honor Play Receive Update to Android 9.0 Pie in November (Updated)

At its event in China, Honor presented the Honor Magic 2 also given an info on the pie update for current Honor devices. The update to the latest Android version Android 9.0 Pie will be rolled out at the beginning of November.
Huawei seems to be developing from EMUI 9.0 to get further and further: Now you should start with an update for the current Honor smartphones in just under two weeks. This is good news, because no Huawei or Honor smartphone is still running except that Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro with Android 9.0 Pie.
Update comes on November 10th
It should start soon: On November 10th, the update will be distributed in waves. This means that it can take a few more weeks for availability in this country. However, this tactic is necessary so that you can intervene in good time if the software is defective. In the past, however, it often took 1 month in Germany and more than 2 months in Austria to get the update.
It remains to be seen when the Huawei smartphones, such as the P20 series or Mate 10 series, will receive the update to Android 9.0 Pie. The update plan for Android 9.0 Pie for the Honor 8X is unclear. We will, however, ask for this information and of course report on it here on the blog if you have specific information. The new interface EMUI 9.0 should be slimmed down together with Android 9.0 Pie and move closer to stock Android. We will put the new OS on here for you when it arrives at one of our devices TechnikNews test extensively.
Update: Android Pie reaches devices in Germany
Android Pie is now also reaching Honor devices in Germany. The update is already being rolled out for the Honor Play. The Honor View 10 and Honor 10 will also get Android 9 Pie later this year. Honor 10, Honor 8 users Pro, Honor 9, Honor 7X or 8X and Honor 9 Lite will have to be patient, they should be ready in early 2019.
