Zooming without problems: AI Super Zoom
One of this year's highlights is the new "AI Super Zoom". With this feature, HONOR is using the latest AI technology to solve the problem of blurred images at high magnification. Thanks to the collaboration with the AI training data from Google Cloud, users can benefit from this feature free of charge from a zoom setting of 30x. proThe integrated AI analyzes and optimizes the images taken afterwards. This effectively minimizes blurring and creates impressively clear images even from a great distance. However, this processing takes a few seconds and requires an active internet connection. Further specs of the "HONOR AI Falcon Camera":
- main camera: 50 MP with an f/1.4 aperture and 1/1.3-inch sensor for images in a wide range of lighting conditions.
- Telecamera: 200 MP with AI Super Zoom (30x-100x) and excellent night photography performance.
- HD Super Burst allows 10 images pro second in order to optimally photograph particularly fast-moving objects.
In the soon to be published test report here on TechnikNews We will of course look at this topic in more detail.
Even more AI: Magic Portal 2, AI translation, notes with AI summary
Of course, that's not all there is to AI. The new Magic Portal 2 allows you to circle things on the screen and then, for example, start a web search for them directly. It also enables text recognition, image analysis and direct access to apps. There are also other smart tools, such as a conversation translator in 12 languages. The conversation partner sees the other person's translated conversation displayed on their half of the screen and vice versa. Google Gemini with its AI functions is also on board.
On top of that, there is a new note app that uses AI to generate an automatic summary from the conversation or notes. In the future, HONOR is also planning an "AI deepfake detection" that can analyze facial expressions during video calls and thus immediately recognize whether the person on the other side is really real.
