During MWC 2019, Huawei provided that Huawei Mate X presented the manufacturer's first foldable smartphone. It is finally known when the sales start will be.

The official page for the Mate X states that sales will start next June. With this smartphone, Huawei not only brought its first own foldable into its range, but also its first own 5G device. In addition, it should be the direct competitor to the Galaxy fold .

More expensive than the Galaxy Fold

Even if Huawei has not yet announced any final prices, it is already clear that the foldable smartphone will cost around 2.300 euros. This makes it 300 euros more expensive than the competitor from the Koreans. If you look at the choice of internal components, both devices are at eye level again. Huawei's own Kirin 980 works in the Mate X with eight gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of internal memory. The display is eight inches when open and has a resolution of 2480 × 220 pixels. We will report again when prices for the Huawei Mate X come to light.
